Ahhh Ozzy, such a good song, and such an apt one for last Friday night.
The first Friday of every month is Rock & Metal night at a local club as I’ve mentioned before, and with it being so close to Halloween this month there was a fancy dress party! I’ve had ages to think about costumes and had several ideas, most of which were non-runners. Eventually I came up with an idea that I could go with – a wolf of some kind. Bearing in mind the theme was Fantasy and Fairytale, my original idea was to go as the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, replete with nightdress, hat and little round glasses. The thought of wandering across town dressed like that wasn’t an appealing one though, so eventually I decided on Werewolficus Genericus (there should totally be a freeze frame of Coyote about now).
Unfortunately I felt like poo, thanks to the lingering illness I had and really couldn’t give the night the effort it deserved from a dancing point of view, it exhausted me doing just about anything, but I was determined to go and had no choice in the end after offering a lift to a couple of fellow party-goers. So here’s the finished article, with yours truly inside.
I’m pleased with how it turned out considering it was very last-minute, so much so I’ve kept it just in case of costume emergencies. Another clothing related post to come tomorrow!
