Our club’s competition team has been getting a bit of a facelift and overhaul as of late, and between Sunday’s normal lesson and sparring session we received the biggest change of all – our new squad uniforms. We’ve moved away from the foldover dobok/gi style which we’ve traditionally used and gone to a more sporty lightweight pull-over style, and it’s very comfortable and nice to move in.

The silver print is really nice, and we even had ‘TANG SOO DO’ printed down the front of the right leg (as the below action shot shows). At the very least at our future competitions we can feel good, maybe that’ll help counterbalance the nerves!
I always say that the better dressed you are, the more confident you feel. It will be interesting to see how the new digs affect your tournament outcomes.
